ATC Name Cards for a Friend

Yesterday I came home after dropping Hunter off at school and the power was out. It ended up being out for a couple hours so I took the time to play in my scrap room and I got these ATC cards finished for a swap with a friend in Idaho. I really like how they turned out even though I had no idea that this is what I was going to do! I hope Emma likes them...

Snow at the end of April

Here is what we woke up to yesterday morning - about 6" of the best snowman making snow. This was the second day of snow and it all melted away just like the day before. Of course we did not see any snow in town when we took the trip to school but that is nothing new. I think our elevation at the house is about 1,150 feet higher than town. That is central Oregon for you - snow, wind, rain and sunshine all in the same day!

This picture shows our weather vane plastered with snow from the west and it also shows how sticky the snow is.

This morning, we have about an inch on the ground. Hopefully the clouds will move out and we will have a smooth trip this weekend.

Thunder - Our little jack-in-the-box

This is a tribute to poor little Thunder. This little girl was born on September 23, 2003 and we brought her home when she was 5 weeks old. Unfortunately, she passed on April 12, 2009.

She was my son's dog but loved by all of us and we will miss her. I believe she is happily bouncing around and chasing mice in a better place.

Hummer Visit

This is a little hummingbird that flew into my scrapbook room on Sunday, April 19th.

I have a blog!

OMG...I cannot believe that I now have a blog! I finally decided to do this to help me "keep track" of those little things...like dates! Sometimes I think something just happened a few weeks ago but it was really a few months ago. Off I go to figure out how to get this blog lined out.
