Snow at the end of April





Here is what we woke up to yesterday morning - about 6" of the best snowman making snow. This was the second day of snow and it all melted away just like the day before. Of course we did not see any snow in town when we took the trip to school but that is nothing new. I think our elevation at the house is about 1,150 feet higher than town. That is central Oregon for you - snow, wind, rain and sunshine all in the same day!


This picture shows our weather vane plastered with snow from the west and it also shows how sticky the snow is.


This morning, we have about an inch on the ground. Hopefully the clouds will move out and we will have a smooth trip this weekend.
